An open letter for the Post Office.

I will leave the contents of the letter here as a historical curiosity. In re-reading my own words, I sound like a pundit. 2020 me would have made an excellent political campaigner.
I did not remember writing this letter so harshly. In 2020, I was angry, as a lot of people were. Angry at Donald Trump, his mishandling of the pandemic, and his corrupt policies. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm still somewhat angry, particularly over January 6th. However, I, at the very least, should have included damn some ciatations when making claims as bold as "Donald Trump is trying to dismatle the United States Post Office, specifically to prevent people from voting in the 2020 election." No matter whether such claims were true or not, or whether they would prove to be prophetic or not. (As I recall this was written in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election.)
I'm a lot less angry 3 years on as I was when I wrote this originally.

I won't delay here. Donald Trump is trying to dismatle the United States Post Office, specifically to prevent people from voting in the 2020 election (he said so himself when holding a press confrence about a democrat proposal to give 25 billion to the Post Office) We can't let Trump do this. Right now, in 2020 we need the United States Post Office. The Democrats plan to provide 25 billion for the Post Office is something we need, but we also need to repeal the Postal Accontablility and Enhancement Act, which has been choking the USPS for the last 10 years. We need to provide the Post Office with funding, we need to cut the noose around the Post Office, and we, at the very least, have to save the post office from Donald J. Asshole.

Please. Protect. the. Post.
